#34 - Pergamano Rose

Simple is beautiful. So true as far as this design is concerned. A simple rose on vellum.I have tried my best to do justice to this design.

I first traced the rose on the 140gsm vellum sheet with a with a white pergamano pen. Embossed the outline with a small ball tool. And shaded the petals and leaves with the small as well as medium ball tools.
For the border, I used the fine semi-circle perforating tool. With the brown colored brads fixed the sheet onto the red cardstock.
Hope everyone likes it!!!

#33 - CAS card

I had a new stamp purchased that I really liked from Stamp-It Australia and wanted to use it. At this new challenge at CASology I thought of putting it to use. Here is my card,

Stamped on a watercolor and watercolored the same. I then cut out a window in the layered white cardstock and emobossed it. Finally put everything together and created this card.

#32 - One Layer Card

Created this card for the Less Is More - One Layer Card challenge. Recently, I purchased the WPlu9 Fresh Cut Florals stamp set and using that I created this card.

The background is created using the My Favorite Things - Stencil and Memento Angel Pink ink pad. I then stamped the roses and leaves from the WPlus9 Fresh Cut Florals using the Memento Love Letter and Bamboo Leaves ink pads. Finally, the sentiment is stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and is from the same stamp set.

#31 - Quilled Frame

My latest creation is this Quilled Frame. I started off with a rough idea about the layout but after arranging the flowers I kinda liked the look of it.

For this project, I started off with making the circle-folded flowers(sometime called the malaysian flowers). I made 14 such flowers with 7 in light blue and 7 in violet colored 3mm quilling strips. Then I used the 3mm dark green strips to make the leaves and finally for the branches I used 3mm brown colored strips.

I arranged everything on the Stamp-It's pattern paper and finally framed it all.

Hope you all like it. Comments are always welcome :-)

#30 - Pergamano Flowers

I had been fascinated with this form of art called Pergamano. Its simply amazing, beautiful and so much fun. This is my first Pergamano card and I really liked the way its come out.

For this card, I used 140gsm vellum sheet and traced the design with permanent black fine ink. The best option could be using Micron fine tip pens or even Sharpies are good. For coloring I used the Faber Castell Connecter pens and the Faber Castell Polychromous pencils of the same color shade.

For the flowers I started from the bottom of the petal, added a little color with pens and then used the waterbrush to create the light an shaded effect of the same color. Then turning the vellum, I embossed the petals starting from the top which has added the white effect on the petals. Finally, used the pencils to added a little darkness to the petals. Followed the same technique with the leaves.

I traced the chevron with the white pencils and turning the vellum stippled the entire chevron using a single needle tool.

Finally, the border, I traced it using the white pencil and embossed it using the ball embossing tool and using the 2-needle tool(Mini StampEdge) cut out the border.

I really hope everyone like this!!!

#29 - Quilled Flowers

I had come across this simple design of a 3 petal flower and wanted to re-create it with #Quilling. I have not added any sentiment on this card as I felt it could be used for any occasion.

I used the #Spellbinders - Romantic Rectangles die set to make the shaped card and added a few pearls on it.

Each petal in the flower is made of 7 individual quilled teardrop, all glued together.

Hope all like this.

# 28 - Quilled Christmas Card

I wanted to create a quilled card in red and green and thought of this very simple design.

I first quilled the flower with 3mm strips of red and golden and the leaves with 3mm strips of dark green and arranged them.
I diecut the cardstock using the spellbinders die on which I made the arrangement. Used the patterned paper from Kaisercraft Twig and Berry cardstock.
