# 23 - Flowers and Butterflies

"Some people make your laugh a little louder, your smile a little brighter, and your life a little better"

Created this card for the Catchy Challenges and the inspiration was this pic below

I loved the colors and have tried to incorporate them in my project. I have used the roses from the gold peel-off sheet and have stuck them onto the watercolor paper and coloured usingTim Holtz distress markers - Victorian Velvet and Tattered Rose for the roses and Shabby Shutters for the leaves.

Created the background using MFT Stencils and sponge daubered the Memento Desert Sand ink. Finally stamped and cut the small butterflies from the Hero Arts stamp set. The sentiment is also from the Hero Arts stamp set.

# 22 - Flourish

"I keep myself busy with the things I do. But every time I pause I still think of you"

I have tried to highlight the orange color. Gold embossed using the Stamp-It's Flourish stamps and Ranger's Gold embossing powder. Scored the center part of the card for an additional effect and added a few yellowish pearls.

# 21 - Butterflies

'Believe you can and you are halfway there'

Created this card for the Addicted to CAS Challenge.

Scored the cardstock in rising straight lines to create that embossed look(I still don't own a embossing and die-cutting machine, so I do all the embossing using bone folder) . Punched the butterflies and sponge daubered then using memento ink pads.Stamped the sentiment from Kaisercraft and stuck it. Handmade the flower.

Just tried to interpret the sentiment in this card with the butterfly's journey towards the flower

# 20 - Sunset Again

'Enjoy the little things in life, because one day you will look back and realize they were the big things'

Created this card for the Less Is More - Sunset challenge. I have tried to bring about the shades of sun during sunset in concentric circles and then just stamped the image onto it. Used watercolors again to create the background.

# 19 - Sunset

'It is almost impossible to watch the sunset and not think of you'

I created this card for Less Is More - Sunset challenge. I created this sunset using watercolors. It was the first time I used watercolors so much. Enjoyed so much creating this card with such a beautiful theme.

Also adding this card for the Virginia's View Challenge # 15

Tried to showcase the Ombre pattern here.

# 18 - Friends

'I love those people you can joke around with and have so much fun with and then have deep conversation with and its not weird at all'

I created this card for the Colour Me... Monochromatic! challenge.

I absolutely loved creating this card. I dont have a embossing and die-cutting machine yet and was so keen on creating a white card with a little embossing on it and this was where I tried it.
The embossing on the card is done by scoring the lines using the bone folder. I have stuck some pearls on the embossing for an elegant effect.
The top portion of the card is self-embossed slightly using the Stamp-It Swirls stamp. The sentiment is gold embossed. Finally embellished the card with a few small flowers, a strip of ribbon and stamens.

# 17 - Vintage Card

Its the first time I tried my hands on creating a Vintage Card and I absolutely enjoyed creating this card for the CAS.ology Vintage Challenge

I have used 3 different stamps here - Kaisercraft's Script stamp, Papermania Urban Stamps - Chronology and the Typewriter. I used the Memento 'Potter's Clay' ink pad and sponge dauber-ed the paper edges with same to give that vintagy finesse. The typewriter is stamped with Memento 'Tuxedo Black' ink pad. Hope everyone likes this.

# 16 - Great Day

"You are off to great places, Today is your day, Your mountain is waiting so get on your way"

I created this card for The Paper Players - A Tic- Tac- Toe challenge , the idea was

My card showcases the use of patterned paper on a blue cardstock and I have gold embossed the sentiment on it.

# 15 - With Love

"The meaning of life is to find your gift, the purpose of life is to give it away"

Created this card for CAS(E) this Sketch #125

Layered the black cardstock onto the red one. Die-Cut the With Love sentiment and sponge daubered it with Memento 'Love Letter' ink. The wooden heart embellishments were lying with me for a long time now and this is where I thought of using them.
