#44 - A simple 'Thank You' card

Hey friends,

Today I am here with a simple 'Thank You' card. I had got this Penny Black daffodils stamp sometime back from a local store closing down sale. Closing down sales are such a bargain and you get some real good stuff there :-)

I came up with this card for the CAS(E) this Sketch #182

Stamped the daffodils onto a white cardstock and colored the image with my markers. Die cut the sentiment using the WPlus9 Thank You dies. Finished off with a few sequins.

Hope everyone likes this!!!

#43 - Sparkle and Shine

Hey friends,

Sparkle and Shine stamp set from WPlus9 was absolutely love at first sight for me. I had to have it. I totally enjoy creating cards with this particular stamp set. Here is the card I created using this stamp set and distress ink.

A clean and simple card with the sentiment and diamonds(WPlus9 Sparkle and Shine ) stamped on a piece of watercolor paper. First stamped the sentiment and diamonds with Versafine ink and heat embossed it with white embossing powder from Ranger. Then colored the paper pink with Spun Sugar distress ink.

I used a glittering silver washi tape on the border to go with the sentiment and add some bling to the card. Finally, glued this on a white cardstock.

I have repeated the diamonds on the card

My theme was NOTHING - Made a CAS card

Used the glittering washi tape as the bling element

#42 - Roses for Birthday

Hey friends,

Roses for birthday. Who would not love them?

I created this card using the Justrite 'Rose Garden' background stamp which I white embossed on the white cardstock. I then sponged the roses with memento dew drops ink and the hero arts shadow ink.
Stamped the sentiment and finished the card with a little twine.

#41 - Distress Coloring

Hey friends,

'All failures, struggles and fears just add a little more color to life'. A few words of encouragement and a little color is how I would describe a card.

I blended the spun sugar, salty ocean and squeezed lemonade distress inks on the watercolor paper and got the colored background. I then stamped the bunch of flowers from the Penny Black 'Blooming Garden' stamp set.On a square piece of watercolor paper I blended the spun sugr and squeezed lemonade distress ink and stamped the sentiment from Kaisercraft which I later matted on a yellow cardstock. Stuck a strip of black cardstock and then matted the entire piece on a blue cardstock.

I wasnt very sure how this card was going to turn out, but once done I was amazed at how beautiful it looked.

#40 - Get Well Soon

Hey Crafter,

'Medicines will only cure your body, but a beautiful bright card from a dear friend will heal your soul' . And what could be better than a bright and cheerful card like this one.

I had got these 'Get well soon' stamps from Lawn Fawn sometime back and absolutely fell with the cute little images. So, just thought of using them here.

I have used the Avery Elle border dies and the Lawn Fawn stamp and die set along with argyle background pattern paper.

Quilled Canvas

Good day mates'. Presenting my creation for this month's IQCG "STENCIL IT" challenge.

"TIME FLIES WHEN YOU ARE WITH FRIENDS"

How true are these words. This is indeed what I felt when I was working on this canvas with my friends viz: Brick Stencil, Quilled elements, Punched paper and a lot of colours.

Brick wall created with texture paste and a stencil and painted in vintage photo distress ink. A nice earthy shade.

What could be better friends to a quilled butterfly than some beautiful colourful quilled blossoms.

This canvas is a heartfelt representation of how I feel when I am with friends. Happy and Content.

Hope you enjoy this and please feel free to leave a comment or a constructive criticism...

Thanks
