#39 - Love, Love, Love with Hearts, Arrows and Scraps

"The best and the most beautiful things in the world must always be felt with your heart". The beauty in any artistic medium never fades and so my heart went out to all the scraps, and hence I decided to give them a new lease of life with this beautiful card :-)

A beehive quilled heart finished off with a dazzling heart-arrow charm, lots of scraps and pattern paper on a vintage-y background, together formed this captivating card.

Now, on to describe my card :
Size of this card being 5.5" * 5.5*(square card) . The blue pattern paper is cut to 5"*5" and the scrap background in made on 4.5" * 4.5" piece of cardstock with each scrap being 1.5" .
Die-cut the heart and designed the outside with some pearls and quilled the heart with 3mm quilling strips. Finally finished off this piece with the charm

Here are some of the scraps I used for this card.

#38 - CAS card 'Bloom'

A flower does not think of competing with the other flower, it just blooms. A lovely code word set up by the ATCAS team for this challenge and I thoroughly enjoyed  creating this card . Quite happy the way it has turned out.

Stamped the Stamp-It Australia's floral stamp 'Cherish on the borders and colored it with Faber Castell pens. Stamped the sentiment from Hero Arts stamp set using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. As simple as that :-)

#37 - Punches and Dies

Hey friends,

Thought of trying my hand on some punches that I had. I have always loved the look the punch craft gives to any project.
A little work on simple punch outs beings so much life to the work. Well, with that hope I worked on this simple little card.

I have used the scalloped circle punch to make the flowers. The leaves are die-cuts from the Stampin Up dies. The purple die cut-out which forms the centre of the card is from the Marriane Designs Creatables dies. And finally, the base - the black cardstock is shaped with the Spellbinders Romantic Rectangles die set. Added the rhinestones to add some bling to the card. The sentiment is gold embossed using the Ranger's gold embossing powder and the stamp is from Hero Arts.

I have worked on the Flower-Diecuts-Yellow combination. Although the Flowers-Bling-Purple combination also works.

#36 - CAS Card RED

Hey friends,

Where do I start... Just the colour RED makes me smile. RED instantly attracts attention, makes people excited energetic, and increases the heart rate.

Extremely excited when I came across Addcited to CAS - Challenge #80 - Red . Made a simple card with a combination of bold colors.

Layered the red cardstock on the white one. Had recently purchased this Penny Black's 'Temptation' stamp from Stamp-It. Heat embossed this stamp onto the red cardstock using the White embossing powder from Ranger. Also, heat embossed the sentiment in white which is from Hero Arts.

Well, thats what I had while creating this card - fun...  The colors are from the ColourQ Challenge #326

Here is my card,

The stamp I used is the Wplus9 Fresh Cur Florals along with its coordinating dies. I used the teal blue cardstock for my base and layered the Prima white cardstock over it.

I created a pattern using thin strips from the teal blue cardstock and stuck the diecuts over it. The inks used are all from Memento - Cantalope, Teal Zeal, Bamboo Leaves and Rich Cocoa.

Quilled Frame - IQCG Feb 2016

Hey friends,

Extremely happy, proud and honoured to be a part of the Design team of the Indian Quilling Challenge Group 2016.

So, here goes

Anything goes with pink

Here is my representation of the theme for IQCG Feb 2016

With Valentine's day around, I thought why not play with some hearts ;-)
And so, my creation that I have tried to showcase.

The pink here are the Hearts and Blossoms. The flowers are made with the grape-roll technique. The hearts are quilled with the beehive technique. To complement the design I added some pearls and other embellishments as finishing touches.

3mm quilling strips are used for this project.

Hope everyone likes this!!

Waiting for beautiful submissions from all talented quillers out there.
