#30 - Pergamano Flowers

I had been fascinated with this form of art called Pergamano. Its simply amazing, beautiful and so much fun. This is my first Pergamano card and I really liked the way its come out.

For this card, I used 140gsm vellum sheet and traced the design with permanent black fine ink. The best option could be using Micron fine tip pens or even Sharpies are good. For coloring I used the Faber Castell Connecter pens and the Faber Castell Polychromous pencils of the same color shade.

For the flowers I started from the bottom of the petal, added a little color with pens and then used the waterbrush to create the light an shaded effect of the same color. Then turning the vellum, I embossed the petals starting from the top which has added the white effect on the petals. Finally, used the pencils to added a little darkness to the petals. Followed the same technique with the leaves.

I traced the chevron with the white pencils and turning the vellum stippled the entire chevron using a single needle tool.

Finally, the border, I traced it using the white pencil and embossed it using the ball embossing tool and using the 2-needle tool(Mini StampEdge) cut out the border.

I really hope everyone like this!!!

#29 - Quilled Flowers

I had come across this simple design of a 3 petal flower and wanted to re-create it with #Quilling. I have not added any sentiment on this card as I felt it could be used for any occasion.

I used the #Spellbinders - Romantic Rectangles die set to make the shaped card and added a few pearls on it.

Each petal in the flower is made of 7 individual quilled teardrop, all glued together.

Hope all like this.

# 27 - Christmas trees

Some days back I was just browsing on one of the online scrapbooking stores and came across these gorgeous Christmas tree peel-offs. I instantly fell in love with them and had to order them.

To go with these silver Christmas tree stickers I used the silver glitter paper and white glitter paper as a mat. And finally used the silver border and corner stickers as the finishing touches to the cards.

# 26 - Quilled Flower - Seasons Greetings

I had this quilled flower made some time an wanted to use it somewhere and this new card was the best way to utilise it.

I die-cut the twig using Marianne Designs dies. Embossed the top part of the white cardstock and tied the black and white polka dots ribbons to add some contrast to the cards.

I am not a very big fan of using ribbons on my cards but really love their effect with quilled cards.

# 25 - Quilled Snowflakes

Love quilling and I absolutely love quilled snowflakes. So I thought os making a few mini cards which would highlight one single lovely little snowflake.

Made the snowflake using 3mm white quilling strips and added some pearls. Used die-cut shapes to ad dimension to these cards and finally used silver peel-off borders just to add finishing touches to these cards.

# 24 - The Paper Players - Tic Tac Toe Challenge

Back after a long time.... Its Christmas fever everywhere and I am all set to create some beautiful Christmas cards.

I created this card for The Paper Players - tic-tac-toe Challenge

The combination for this card is the Blue - Sparkle or Shine - Embossing.

I have used the blue cardstock, heat embossed the snowflake with white powder on the blue vellum and to add the sparkle I have used the rhinestones at the corners. I did the same embossing for the sentiment.

I really wanted to work on vellum for a long time now and this was a perfect opportunity.

Punched the butterflies and sponge daubered then using memento ink pads.Stamped the sentiment from Kaisercraft and stuck it. Handmade the flower.

'I love those people you can joke around with and have so much fun with and then have deep conversation with and its not weird at all'

I created this card for the Colour Me... Monochromatic! challenge.

I absolutely loved creating this card. I dont have a embossing and die-cutting machine yet and was so keen on creating a white card with a little embossing on it and this was where I tried it.

The top portion of the card is self-embossed slightly using the Stamp-It Swirls stamp. The sentiment is gold embossed. Finally embellished the card with a few small flowers, a strip of ribbon and stamens.

"The biggest adventure you can take is to live the life of your dreams... Congratulations "

I have punched and embossed the flowers and have used the patterned papers for the background.

# 10 - Inspire Me

There is nothing more rare, nor more beautiful, than a woman being unapologetically herself; comfortable in her perfect imperfection. To me that is the true essence of beauty.

Gold embossed the image and the sentiment onto the black patterned paper. Used gold gel pen to highlight the background.

# 9 - Mother's Day

"My mother - is the bones of my spine keeping me straight and true, she is my blood making sure it runs rich and strong. She is the beating of my heart I cannot imagine a life without her"

Created the quilled flower using 3mm strips of 2 pink shades. I created 2 flowers and then layered them. Then quilled the leaves and a little grass. Cut-out the oval shape and gold embossed the sentiment onto it. Completed the card by pasting all the pieces together and adding the pearl lace around the oval cut-out.

Here I have used watercolor pencils to create the background. I used all shades of green and light brown pencils and just scribbled on the paper. Later I spritzed some water and just used the watercolor brush to blend the colors.
I have used scalloped punch to create the red flowers.

The minute I completed this card, I totally fell in love with it. Didn't expect it to turn out so well. Quilled the 2 flowers with 3mm yellow and brown strips. Quilled just 2 sprigs of grass and added a few pearls. To give the window effect to this card, I used Distress Ink - Wild Honey and the MFT stencil and then stamped the sentiment.

I am definately gonna post this card to my Mum in India :-) ..... I hope she loves this...

Quilled 2 flowers with 3mm red and yellow strips. The smaller flower is quilled using the husking technique and bigger one is done using beehive technique. I absolutely love the effect the beehive technique brings to the flowers.  Quilled the sprigs of leaves using 3mm green strips.

I border punched the yellow cardstock and pasted the quilled creations onto it and stamped the sentiment.

A little something for Grandmom's :-)...
This card is my first take on the gate fold cards and I really liked the way it has turned out as it was the first I have tried this.I have punched and embossed the flowers and leaves. Used patterned paper for the gates and the walls. Finally stamped the sentiment on one of the gates.

I have used watercolor pencils to color the birds and grass. For the grass I have also used some green markers. The stamps are from the Hero Arts Mothers Day stamp set. To complete the card, I have used a few clear rhinestones.

"Love is like a rainbow, the more you see it, the more you realize, what a miracle it really is"
