Holiday Series Day 20

Today, I thought of trying a little Stencil Monoprinting and its come out quite nice.

Here is the card,

For the background, I used the Time Holtz Flourich stencil and the Spun Sugar and Picked Raspberry distress inks. The trees were cut as triangles and the I used a chevron stencil, Tim Holtz Dots Fade stencil along with Mowed Lawn and Peeled Paint distress inks. Die-cut the rectangles with MFT Wonky Stitched rectangles.

Holiday Series - Day 13

Today I have a very simple quilled card. I was really very busy making Christmas treats for my son's class. We have to distribute them tomorrow. So, just could not spend more time for my series today.

I made this using an embossing folder for the background, a quilled snowflake and some peel-off stickers.

Holiday Series - Day 12

A simple card with some watercolor wash background is here today. I created the background with 3 shades of blue on a watercolor paper and cut the paper to size so that I can mat it onto the white cardstock. Before matting, I created a starry background using a 'stars' embossing folder.

From the remaining watercolored sheet, I die cut 3 'merry' word die cuts using the Winnie and Walter 'Merry' die. Adhered these words onto the embossed watercolored sheet and then added some sequins. Finished of the card by adhering this onto a cardstock.

The card has a monochromatic look to it. Here it is,

Holiday Series - Day 10

Its Santa time...

Although I dont really have a good Santa stamp set, I did get a little Santa from a local store here and its kind of cute.

I made this with this little dancing Santa, colored it with Sharpies and added some clear Wink of Stella. Used my latest Thanksgiving purchase from MFTStamps - Wonky Stiched Rectangle dies. The pattern paper used on the background is from the Lawn Fawn Perfectly Plaid collection.

Holiday Series - Day 9

Wow, day 9 already and am doing good. Today, I struggled a bit for some ideas but then my eyes fell on my newly bought distress markers and I just played along with them.

For this card, I created a background with distress markers - salty ocean, evergreen bough and weathered wood on a watercolor paper and I am in love with the outcome. Cut a panel of white cardstock with my newest Thanksgiving purchase from MFTStamps - the stitched rectangle frames dies. Adhered the panel onto the watercolor paper. A snawflakes with some KindyGlitz on it was perfect along with the sentiment from Lawn Fawn 'Merry Messages'.

Finshed off the card by adhereing the entire panel to a white cardstock.

Holiday Series - Day 8

Hi,

Day 8 and I am having fun. Although I am struggling to get my work completed and posted(because of my 2 boys) it still is totally worth it.

Card that I am sharing today is created using a non-festive stamp set - WPlus9 Fresh Cut Florals. I made wreath from this set and for the background I used the 'Merry' die from Winnie and Walter.I liked the texture the die-cuts have brought on the background,

Holiday Series - Day 7

Hello friends,

Today, I have made a really simple card but I totally fell in love with it once it was done. I started of by die-cutting the white cardstock using the Winnie and Walter Audrey's cutaways. Stamped the sentiment from the Lawn Fawn Merry Messages and the gingerbread men from the Trim the Tree set. I cut to size a sheet from the the Lawn Fawn Perfectly Plaid and card stuck it on my scored card.

Finally adhered the stamped cardstock onto scored sheet and the card is done.

Holiday Series - Day 6

Hey,

Its Day 6 and the card that I made today is simple with some texture paste on the backgorund. This Holiday Series is making me explore a lot of different styles.

For today's card I started off with making the background with the Chevron stencil and homemade texture paste. I then die-cut the Christmas tree from Lawn Fawn Trim the Tree set and colored it. Also, added some Wink of Stella on the tree. I then die-cut and layered the 'Merry' word from the Winnie and Walter Merry die. The final layer of the word being the red glitter.

Finished off the card with some gold metallic wire and some gold sequins.

Holiday Series - Day 5

Hello,

One of my favorite Christmas Carols is 'Jingle Bells' and today's card is all about Bells. I have used a lot of silver peel-off stickers for the borders and the corners and the Spellbinders Lattice Ornaments die set along with the Spellbinders Romantic Rectangles die set. Loved the lattice mesh on the bells and of course the little bow that comes along with it.

Here is the card,
